Valentine’s is fast approaching and the boys will have to wait. I’m dedicating mine to all the fantastic women in my life, here’s my take on it!
I’m a big fan of love, and Valentine’s Day is a perfect excuse to share a little with girlfriends. Let’s celebrate being strong independent women. Go on, join my sassy gals club!
This Valentine’s I’m going to be…
#1 Spending the day with my mom and grandma – two of the sassiest women I know! They occupy a huge space in my heart, and while they know it, it’s great to show it. We’ll spend hours talking, eating tapas and sharing some wine. We love to sit on my grandmother’s sofa, snuggled up in blankets; we pull out all of our makeup and then we each sit with our own mirror and I give them lots of makeup tips and tricks.
#2 Hosting a girl’s night in! I love getting my besties together at home, we’ll cosy-up in our PJ’s and watch good movies – I’m a sucker for romantic movies, the ones that make you feel all of the feelings at once! Such as The Intern, Pretty Woman, The Blind Side or Mamma Mia. I am also totally into classic Disney movies such as Lady and The Tramp, Beauty and the Beast, or my absolute favorite Mulan!
It will be a mask party, so everyone will choose their favorite face mask to treat their skin and match their mood, while we relax together makeup free and happy being goofy.
#3 Making girlfriend gifts - I’m going to give everyone a mask as a cute gift, with a note to say why I love each of them and think they’re kick-ass!
#4 Organising feel-good foods. I’ll make some fun and nutritious smoothies with fresh pomegranates and oranges. And for a little indulgence, I have some pretty pastel colored macaroons from Ladurée in rose, orange blossom, pistachio and vanilla, little bites of loveliness! After all what more do you need than love… and macaroons!
#5 Feeling the love! Giggling and smiling has to be the best face-yoga ever, it’s all beauty positive! Turn the love vibe up!
#6 Creating my Sassy & Feminine look. You’ll see me rockin’ this regularly! When you’re feeling the sassy spirit give it a go! The S&F Kit contains the 4 brushes you’ll need to create the look, and even a pomegranate face mask to give skin some glow.
